Yet, I was still not convinced about why I really needed that business plan and kept pestering the team assigned to me about what made a business plan a prerequisite for starting a business!

He told me that he would lay out the business scope, operations, strategies and organizational structure in such a way that it would convince the investors about the profit potential of the business. What I particularly liked is the fact that the process of drafting a business plan itself gives the opportunity to organize my plans and ideas even while getting valuable insight into the actual functioning of the business. I can understand the strengths and weakness of the venture as well as how to overcome the same.
